「第四十四屆香港電影金像獎」將於2026年4月19日（星期日）假香港文化中心隆重舉行。香港電影金像獎協會（大會）繼早前陸續發放「最佳男、女主角」及「最佳男、女配角」候選人造型照後，今日(4月2日)發布「最佳新演員」候選人（以下按大會提名名單排序）鄧濤、李佳芯、李哲坤、周衹月和蘇子茵的造型照，讓公眾率先一睹今屆新生代演員的潛力與風采。

憑演出首部電影《女孩不平凡》即雙料入圍今屆「最佳女配角」及「最佳新演員」的鄧濤，在片中飾演22歲隻身赴台、與女友相愛相傷卻無法為未來作出抉擇的「阿徐」。她以自然不刻意的演技，將一個站在人生十字路口無所適從的女孩，那份懸而未決的青春迷惘細緻流露。

以視后身份深入民心的李佳芯，今次在大銀幕上以全新姿態亮相，憑《金童》中的「方靈」一角首度角逐金像獎。她飾演男主角張力的舊愛、兒子方圓的母親，角色雖只以回憶及情感線貫穿全片，戲份卻充滿張力，她以細膩而張弛有度的演出，默默撐起電影的情感核心，令觀眾留下深刻印象。

自幼習武、擁有逾15年武術根底的李哲坤，憑《捕風追影》中的「仔仔」一角躋身今屆「最佳新演員」五強。身為梁家輝旗下「狼群」成員之一，他在片中以行雲流水的動作演出配合層次分明的角色情感，演技與武藝兼備，充分展現新生代動作演員的生氣勃勃，成為電影傳承接棒精神的最佳體現。

年僅14歲、現為香港足球代表隊U16成員的周衹月，首次參演電影即以《逆轉上半場》中的「曾芷瑩」一角入圍。她在片中飾演一名基層小女孩，以真實純樸的演出呈現一個在足球場上與人生逆境中同步成長的少女，角色率直而充滿朝氣，令觀眾完全感受到她身上獨有的青春生命力。

蘇子茵在《給愛麗絲》中夥拍金像影帝太保，飾演逃離家暴、在尖沙咀美麗都大廈偶遇男主角的少女「愛麗絲」。電影探討孤獨與救贖，而她將角色由驚惶、掙扎到逐步敞開心扉的內心變化娓娓道來，導演與太保均盛讚其表演真摯動人，令業界對這位新晉演員的未來發展充滿期待。

一年一度，大會均以一條別出心裁的宣傳片為頒獎典禮揭開序幕。今屆這條約三分鐘的短片，由創作總監吳煒倫導演精心炮製，以影像串連起一代代電影人的心血與足跡。影片剪輯了歷屆新生代演員的電影對白片段，盛載著充滿感召力的信息。片中每一位演員，昔日同樣由新人起步，在漫長歲月中經歷磨煉與起伏，憑著對電影的熱情與永不言棄的意志，逐步成長為獨當一面的實力派演員—當中不乏曾獲金像獎提名者，更有多位已憑演技摘獎而歸。

吳煒倫導演在籌備大會宣傳短片時，刻意擱下外界對「電影寒冬」的嘆喟。他相信，這批在銀幕上努力發放光芒的電影新生代已默默就緒，準備好華麗登場。正如短片所傳遞的信念：春天從不缺席，靜待良機，為電影堅持的人隨時就能蓄勢綻放！

The 44th Hong Kong Film Awards will be held on 19 April 2026 (Sunday) at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, and the Hong Kong Film Awards Association (HKFAA) today (2 April) has released styling photos of the ‘Best New Performer’ nominees Elizabeth TANG, LEE Kai Sum Ali, LI Zhekun, CHAU Tsz Yuet and SO Tsz Yan (according to the order of nomination list).

Elizabeth TANG earns dual nominations for ‘Best Supporting Actress’ and ‘Best New Performer’ for her debut in “Girlfriends”, delivering a realistic, understated portrayal of a 22 year old caught between love and an uncertain future.

LEE Kai Sum Ali, a household name on television, makes her big screen breakthrough in “Golden Boy”, bringing emotional weight and subtlety to the role of “Fong Ling”, which quietly anchors the film.

LI Zhekun, with over 15 years of martial arts training, showcases both physical strength and emotional range as “Jai Jai” in “The Shadow’s Edge”, highlighting the vitality of a new generation of action talent.

Fourteen year old CHAU Tsz Yuet, a member of Hong Kong’s U16 football team, makes a strong first impression in “Pass and Goal” as a grassroots girl growing through challenges on and off the pitch.

SO Tsz Yan co stars with ‘Best Actor’ Tai Bo in “For Alice”, charting her character’s journey from fear to emotional openness in a performance praised by both the director and her co star.

This year’s three minute official promotional video, directed by Jack NG, uses dialogue clips from past emerging actors to celebrate how newcomers grow into acclaimed performers through persistence and passion.

NG chooses to look beyond the norm of a “cinema winter” and holding firm to the belief that spring never fails to come. With confidence, he points to a new generation ready to step into the spotlight, echoing this year’s theme: “For those who stand by cinema, they are always prepared to shine at their full brilliance.”
